The Abel ROVE 11/12+ is the heavy duty, largest reel of the series. Designed specifically for the largest fish you can catch on the fly. The one thing I don't hear enough about related to reels anywhere is the drag wheel range. Some reels can go from no drag to full drag in three turns, some need more. When you have a big fish near the boat and need to adjust your drag quickly you want a reel that doesnt need many turns to get from high drag to low and vise versa. This reel takes a few more turns than I like for the price range and competition in the same range.
