This new addition to the Skagit family keeps you in the Floating game under extremely windy and tight quarter casting situations. Its aggressive front taper gives ultimate power for driving casts into the strongest winds while the rear taper helps load quickly, giving you incredible control in tight casting conditions. The front loop has the line size printed on it for easy recognition. Built on low stretch, low memory braided Power Core.

I use the 450 Rage on a 6126 Spey rod paired with a 12' mono leader for swinging hair wing flies for Steelie. I love the Scandi grace, but yet punchy Skagit-like feel when casting in the wind. I have replaced all my Scandinavian heads for the Rage. For greaseline style fishing for summer run steelhead in the wind, this head cannot be beat!!!
