The combination of the Prince fly pattern with a bead head is a definite nymph fishing winner. Peacock herl is one of the best materials for creating a lifelike appearance and this is one of the best searching fly patterns out there.

When nothing else is working, tie this on and hear the drag rip. Trout seem to love something flashy and out of the ordinary.

The browns on the mad love this pattern. The hot spot is like candy for them.

Probably the best attractor pattern out there working under many conditions. Beyond that, those are really made well.

The BHPN is probably the perfect nymph for any situation. For the price you should have at least a dozen in your selection.
