CRYSTAL METH EGG
Growing up along the PA tribs, the Crystal meth is probably the #1 used pattern to hook and land steelhead in the fall, winter, and spring. Even if you are not around the Great Lakes region, this fly has gained a reputation as a steelhead slayer, especially when the water is up.

Charming fly to rig under a bobber for steelhead in an Erie trib. Great for more colored water, would recommend a more natural-colored sucker spawn for clearer water.
