I've been tying on this vise for well over 15 years and it has never let me down. The important/necessary features from the more expensive Dyna-King vises are all incorporated in the Trekker's design in a much more compact package. This vise is great for those that take their vise with them on fishing trips. The jaws have always worked flawlessly, just requiring an occasional cleaning and regreasing of the forcing cone, vise jaw and the cylinder that holds the vise jaws.

This is an ideal vise for the intermediate to advanced tier looking for rotary functionality. Incredibly light weight, very very smooth rotation, adjustable tension allows you to set the friction so that the vise stays in any position. Adjustable head allows you to move the position so that the hook stays in the same axial plane throughout rotation. As with all Dyna-King models the precision engineering makes this an ideal lifetime investment.

This Dyna-King Trekker is awesome! Build quality is top notch. A lot of the same features of the higher end Dyna-Kings at a lower price point. I really enjoy tying on this vise. Jaws are awesome, nice heavy pedestal, and everything about it is just smooth. This vise is going to outlast me, for sure.
