Mechanically the reel functions well. However, the coating wears EXTREMELY easily.
I take care of my equipment and after one use, there were signs of wear of the external coating.

I’m a pretty big fan of echo. All there products are affordable and perform like the best of them. The bravo is no exception. Is use this reel on my 8 weight rod and it looks really good. I like the loud ratchet sound it gives as well as that huge amount of drag it has! I like how the drag knob is large and had a solid click and is tight to feel knowing when i set it it wont move when bumped. The arbor is huge. I spooled 200yrd of 30lb backing and it fit with fly line perfectly. It is easy maintenance and the tool-less design is really cool and creative. This is a workhorse reel.
