Tim Rajeff with his legendary rod building skills, finally designed an indicator/nymph fly rod for the hopper/dropper, or the heavy split shot egg rig for steelhead or trout. The Echo Indicator Fly Rod was specifically tapered for the angler that needs backbone for long drag free drifts, but accuracy while mending and roll casting. The 6wt 9'6" is an excellent larger trout river fly rod especially if you are fishing out of a drift boat, or along rocky banks. We highly recommend this for the western style trout river scenario. The rod is light in hand, subtle in color to maximize stealth when high sticking, and powerful down to the cork/butt section of the rod. One of the best highlights of this rod is the ease and ability to deliver long and accurate roll casts. Much better than any other rod in this price range.
