A variation on the traditional Frenchie, this swaps the Pheasant Tail body for Dyed Dun Pheasant Tail and finished with Shrimp Pink Ice Dubbing and a red thread collar. Trout in every state will be impressed and so will your catch rate!

This is my absolute go to pattern for euro nymphing. Especially good in very small sizes.

I am using the Frenchies mainly for Euro nymphing. It is a highly effective as a generic mayfly pattern. Not very durable, though
