I bought this pack for my son who is just getting into fly fishing. He loves the size as he has not accumulated a lot of "stuff" yet. Just the right size for essentials. We both love the oil cloth. (I have it on my Bighorn bag)

I have been using this pack for over a year now. Mine is the peat moss (oilcloth) model. It is quite rugged and durable. Just the right size for everything I need without being too big. Great pack!

This is a nice pack for the minimalist fly guy. Very light but still top quality

Great pack for on the go creek fishing. Just the right size to hold what you need, comfortable to wear around your hip or over the shoulder. May add a Switchback Pro shoulder strap since I am used to one on my other pack. Just a great thought out pack with ample room with the addition of the work station. A must have.

Got the sage khaki version and currently using it like a sling pack with the longer strap that comes with it. Holds my 3 fly boxes, tippet spools, floatant and more, with room to spare for snacks, glasses, etc. Also works well attached to my Fishpond wading belt (with waste straps tucked into the strap holders). Really happy with the versatility, multiple pockets, and lightweight design.

I bought this pack because I wanted something that was simple that works. It lives up to my expectations. I didn't want something that holds more stuff than I need on the water because, guaranteed, I would find something to put in it to fill the space even if it wasn't something I really needed. I can put all the stuff I really need in this one and there isn't much room left over for extra stuff to add weight that I don't really need. I like the fly bench because I can get to my flies and see them without having to worry about dropping anything and losing stuff. I like the waist strap/shoulder strap combo. I don't have to have the waist strap so tight that it gets to be uncomfortable and everything stays where I put it. I can also slide the pack around pretty easily when I want to in order to be able to look through the pack and get what I want easily. All in all, a very good design that isn't overdone. Actually, I like the design so much, this is the second one I have purchased. I bought one about 10 years ago and when my wife wanted to start getting into fly fishing with me, I purchased this one for her. She feels the same way I feel about this product. It also says something that I have had mine for almost 10 years and there is no ill affects of aging. There are no tears or frays in the first one I bought so the pack holds up well and lasts.

It may look small, but this pack is so well designed - with so many pockets and compartments - it works like a bag twice the size. I wear mine like a sling, but offers a bunch of flexible options. I owned this bag for nearly 10 years, and it's still my go-to option. And of course, it comes with Fishpond's legendary quality.

This is a great pack to have almost everything ready for getting to a river at any time! A lot of pockets to keep things and well made by FP.
