Pack is great, I'm happy. Lots of room for a chest pack- I like the magnetized front flap. Easy to organize

This pack has good organization, is spacious, and sits quite high on your chest so you can wade deeper without submerging all your gear. It's also really comfortable even with a ton of stuff in it.
That said, I'm not sure I like it more than as simple vest. It's definitely tricker to see where you're stepping when you have a chest pack on. I find it more annoying to put on and take off than a regular vest, and while tightening the straps is easy, loosening them can sometimes be frustrating. I'm also not a fan of having accessories dangle all over. With a vest I can find small pockets to store things like nippers and hemostats even when they're attached to zingers. On this pack there are plenty of spots for zingers but then your stuff is just hanging there, hitting the rod every now and then. Lastly, while a lot of reviews say there's no need to worry about things falling out, I always felt like things were better secured in a vest. Not convinced the magnetic pocket wouldn't pop open if I took a tumble. Especially if the pack is full.

Great storage option for days on the water. Ample storage space and I like the front pocket with magnet closure. It's secure enough where it won't open by accident and provides a good working shelf to switch out your fly. Looking forward to pairing with a fishpond backpack.

I just received my pack, the adjustable straps are great and made to fit anyone big or small. I switched from a sage vest, to the chestpack and all my equipment fit perfectly and I still have room. I leave in a week for my annual fishing trip and that's when I'll get to test on the water for first time, but in my opinion, this in an outstanding pack, and I definitely recommend buying it if your going to get a chestpack! Also I wanted to mention that the magnetic front is an amazing feature that opens nicely as a work station and closes firmly with no need to worry about it popping open on the water.

Well made chest pack, all of the clips and zippers are quality. It is not a minimalist setup, it does have plenty of room. Pack out multiple fly boxes, tippet… sandwich, or whatever. Does well in the rain, doesn’t absorb much water. The magnetic front pouch is very handy when you start moving tying but left it open… easy push to close it. My net rides very nicely in the back as well, the harness keeps the weight of the whole pack unnoticeable. Overall the pack is great, the only thing I might change is making it slightly thinner. It doesn’t get in the way of casting or anything but it is a decent size pack on your chest.

All the storage you really need while allowing full unobstructed motion. There is enough adjustment that will also allow for the wearing of a horizontal shoulder holster.

This has just enough pockets and organization to fit just about everything a conventional vest can.
I worried that things would fall out of the magnetic front pocket but the magnets are surprisingly strong so that has not been a problem at all. It's actually really convenient!
The back pockets are good for things not frequently used such as a headlamp or a light rain jacket.
Highly recommend!

I love its Light weight. I usually carry two nymph boxes, two dry fly boxes, and a streamer box for a day trip. My shoulder just would not feel tired after 8 hours on the water.
