Great size and construction. Was able to reclaim some room from my main fishpond bag by moving reels and other essential items to this case. Room for at least 4 rods. As with all fishpond products it exudes quality. Would buy again without hesitation

My wife and I generally fly fish together and I get to haul the equipment and rods. This 1 case allows be to easily bring everything we need (and spares) for our trips. I consolidated the rods, reels, and various leaders, tippet, and fly boxes into this case. Now if I could shrink the nets and wader bag...

Its perfect . I have a lot of fish pond products , they are all amazing but this one might be the best . Makes travel much better . I have a longer one because i have some longer and spay rods . A lot of pockets for reels and extra things you need to take with you . Super sturdy and has great built quality . Fishpond rocks !

This thing is awesome. Well built and quite functionable. I have 10-11 reels/spools and at least 8 rods in mine as I type. We're talking 3-6wt trout gear, not salmon or salt gear. This is made for rods 9' or less. Everything feels safe and secure, plenty of pouches for accessories, leaders, tippets spools... whatever you need. The rope handle is a great improvement on earlier models and I hope Fishpond keeps using it.

I love my Dakota travel case. It provides protection for four rods and reels as advertised. Construction is typical Fishpond first rate and rugged. I would highly recommend this to any freshwater anglers and some saltwater anglers with only one qualifier. The reel compartments limit the diameter of the reel you can place in them. A Ross Evolution R Salt 7/8 maximizes the space with both sides being very snug. You can’t put the reel in with the foot towards the outside or center of the bag. It cannot be in its protective neoprene case or it sizes out. I would like to see the case a bit wider in the reel compartment and believe that it could be done by narrowing the rod portion while still maintaining sufficient room for four rods.

I like it, sturdy, should protect/carry rods well. Holds 4 rods easily, 5 might be a squeeze. If you took out the spacers you could get 8-10 but probably overkill.

Can't beat Fishpond. It's a much easier size to carry on flights than some larger cases I have used and still have gear to fish even if checked bags get delayed. This bag is big enough to fit several fly rods or travel rods, 4-5 reels and some extra space.

This is a very well made case. It's very functional and looks great at the same time. It will last for a long time for sure. Nothing can be further desired. A very good product. Only regret is not getting it earlier.
