FISHPOND NOMAD EL JEFE NET
The salmon and steelhead fisherman's net. The El Jefe features a deeper bag depth with a slightly larger bag width than a standard mid-length net for larger fish. Nomad nets are made using a mixture of carbon fiber and fiber glass. The result is a very lightweight and durable net. Nomad nets are built for the conditions that prevail where great fishing exists; they are waterproof, UV protected, and float like a cork. All Nomad nets come standard with a clear rubber bag.

This net is large, but it can still be carried while wading. I use a lumbar pack or tuck the handle in my wading belt. It is light weight and is not cumbersome. Makes a great wading staff or hiking stick on uneven terrain. Great all around net for trout, bass, and larger species.

It's basically the Mid Length net with some extra capacity for larger fish. This net is not too large to pack on a belt while wade fishing.

Great net and size for fishing steelhead. Be careful with the netting because it will rip if snagged. They do sell replacement netting

The extra handle length helps land fish one step closer. Very light for its size. The rubber net makes catching and releasing large fish a breeze.

This is absolutely the best wading net I have owned. The added handle length is great for handling fish one step closer. The clear rubber net is easy on fish and using barbless hooks makes releasing fish easy in seconds without having to pull them out of the water or handle them with hands at all.

Love this net! Lightweight and that extended handle is a huge difference when Euro nymphing with 3# gear. This is a must for any style fisherman.

I’m using this net in both saltwater (kayak) and freshwater (wading) fisheries and am pretty certain it’s the last net I’ll ever need. The long handle is great for reaching trout (or halibut) and it does double duty as a wading staff. It’s so light, it’s easy to carry in my wading belt and on my ‘yak.
