While I don't own one of these bags yet (please get these back in stock RFR!), I've had the opportunity to borrow them from fellow tyers on multiple occasions. They are hands down the best travel tying kit available. Well organized with room to bring your entire kit, you'd be hard pressed to find another option that even comes close. Given the amount of tying on the road (Brewery nights, club events, etc) I do, I'll definitely be adding one to my cart as soon as RFR makes them available again. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend. Just don't sell them out before I can get one next time.

This is a great case that can carry everything I need including my vise and tools whenever I want to travel with my tying materials. It's well constructed and designed for easy access and separation of various materials.

I'm sure we all get into tying flies for different reasons. For me, it was my wife who encouraged me to find an outdoor-related hobby that would keep me around the house/camp a little bit more, and a little less restless with a new baby at home. Anyway, I'm a little type-A and like organization, so she eventually bought me this bag to organize and store materials, and keep her dining room table picked up. It works great for those purposes. Smartly-designed, thoughtfully arranged, and with typical fishpond quality. Makes tying a couple of flies here and there worthwhile - you can actually spend more time tying than you spend setting everything up, searching for materials, etc. Also works great when you are going to the in-laws for the weekend and need something to keep busy and sane! And yes, it's a little spendy for some. But worth it because of the sheer convenience it offers.

This bag can handle all of your fly tying supplies! Works great to store my Renzetti Travel vise along with all of my Loon tools and still has tons of room for all the materials. Before this bag I stored all my stuff in a bin that was completely disorganized. I'm happy to say this bag changed that and now I can bring it all with me on fishing trips, to the local fly shop. Love Fishphonds attention to detail and quality products!

Tremendous amount of storage for a tying bag. Really like the secured area for a vise base. Clear bags are nice. Essential kit for any traveling tier.

Fishpond makes great stuff and this Tailwater Tying kit bag is no exception. It will fit absolutely EVERYTHING you will need and even stuff you WON'T need for tying remotely. It's the perfect size and the build quality is excellent. When you are not traveling with it, it becomes and excellent materials storage bag. This is one of those buy it once in your lifetime products because you will never wear it out.

Fishpond thought of everything with this bag, along with the high quality craftsmanship you would expect from them. It really has it all: vise base holder (along with a separate felt pouch to protect the vise itself), tool holders, spool holders, 4 zip out tough bags for materials, and extra zippers inside and out for whatever else you want to throw in. I didn't even notice when ordering, but it even came with a high-quality pull out working mat! And when I didn't think it could hold any more, I was even able to easily throw in a 5x10 in utility box for stocking finished flies! If you're wondering if it's worth the price tag (like I was), don't even think twice. This bag should last a life time!
