Frog’s Fanny Double Duty Fly Treatment is a dry powder application that is odorless, tasteless, and non-toxic with multiple purposes and abilities that can be put on your fly anytime, wet or dry. This fly treatment is for waterproofing and is a desiccant for drying your flies. Frog’s Fanny will literally dry out and revive a soaked or slimed fly and is a perfect companion for CDC flies. This magical powder does not stop at dry flies; it’s also for putting air bubbles on nymphs. Just take the brush applicator (which comes with each bottle attached to the inside of the lid) and brush on the powder around the thorax, once under the water, it will put a realistic air bubble on the nymph and will help you suspend an emerger in the surface film. As the manufacturer has indicated on the bottle use the brush to work the powder into the fly fibers, do not take shortcuts and put your fly in the bottle and shake it, you will only succeed in faults casting the powder off the fly. You can also use this treatment on streamers which will make the fly flashier under the water; it can also be used on wool or synthetic yarn strike indicators.
