The new Grey’s Tail AW fly reel is the latest addition to the Grey’s family featuring an incredibly durable Di-Cast design. The Di-cast aluminum undergoes two separate machining processes to remove excess metal to create a stunning, highly finished design. Finished with an anodizing pre-treatment and then a durable paint finish to ensure corrosion-free saltwater use, the Tail all-water is also fitted with a sealed all-water Disc drag system generating over 10lbs of smooth drag. Received this reel earlier this week. First outing yesterday in Port O'Connor on Texas Gulf Coast. Caught 3 Redfish each close to 7lbs. i Sheephead at 5.5 pounds. Reel holds perfect amount of line & backing. Drag on reel is excellent! Reel cleaned up as good as new after 6 hours in salt. Very happy with purchase.
