brass bush and spindle, hand polished, deep anodized “pearl silver” finish. Paired
with a bamboo or glass rod and you will have a deadly combination. Extremely
durable and lightweight, built specifically for all things trout.
The Hardy Bougle is the iconic two-handed spey reel. This 4" Bougle is perfect for 9 or 10 weight spey rods, with a small arbor with a wider spool design to hold 300yds of 30lb backing with enough room for longer spey lines. The 4" is the perfect size and weight, tipping the scales right under 8 ounces, making this a versatile reel for multiple uses. The drag can be engaged with a turn of the screw, or you can enjoy the thrill of palming the reel and satisfying connection to that silver bullet when they take off.
