The Zane Carbon is built on new innovative hybrid carbon fiber/aluminum frame to make the Zane Carbon lighter without sacrificing structural rigidity and durability. Hardy added a fully sealed saltwater drag system with a 340 degree regulated drag control with hard indents for fast accurate adjustments when battling fish. Built to dominate the saltwater flats, Hardy Zane Carbon 12000 12wt+ is a powerful reel that's extremely light and strong, with a large arbor and a silky smooth drag system.
Hardy integrated many new innovative machining and finishing processes with this reel. The anodized type II finish protects the reel from the daily abuse while on the salt. The new carbon fiber/aluminum frame allows the reel to be extremely light, while being strong, rigid, and durable for the life of the reel. The fully sealed drag features a multi pad disc internal guts for 10lb+ fish stopping power.
