Hardy added a fully sealed saltwater drag system with a 340 degree regulated drag control with hard indents for fast accurate adjustments when battling fish.
The Hardy Zane Carbon 6000 is the perfect light saltwater or heavier freshwater reel for modern rods in a 6/7/8wt range. Hardy integrated many new innovative machining and finishing processes with this reel. The anodized type II finish protects the reel from the daily abuse while on the salt. The fully sealed drag features a multi pad disc internal guts for 10lb+ fish stopping power.
