I’ve now owned the Vibram Idropgrip (4th), the Triple Threat Aluminum Hex (2nd), the Felt (3rd) and the Studded Vibram Idropgrip (1st) bottoms & these would be my second choice in that lot (my rankings in parenthesis). The studed Vibrams are a bit crunchy but I felt like Spider-Man with those on. The felt is okay but a pain to clean (if you’re invasive species conscious…which I hope everyone is!), and the straight Vibrams forget it!! Those are in my Wrangler storage box for emergency use only. They feel like old the canvas converse sneakers walking on ice & I won’t ever use those without a wading staff! The Hex bottoms are somewhere between that and the Spider-man studded bottoms. Honestly I was a bit surprised they weren’t a better grip but maybe they’ll break in a bit. Nonetheless they’re pretty good albeit heavier than the others.
