LIGHT HENDRICKSON DRY FLY
Ephemerella invaria is the genus of the light Hendrickson flies (also known as Sulphurs). Generally hatching after the dark Hendrickson, this light pinkish, tan mayfly is one of the favored hatches, particularly in the East. Named after Albert Hendrickson of Scarsdale, New York in 1916 by fly tier Roy Steenrod of Liberty, New York. Next time you're on the stream and the subject of the Hendrickson mayfly comes up, you can impress your friends with that little fact.
