I just finished reviewing hatch nippers. Which cost almost 20 times more than these. Does that mean they are that much better than these? Not at all. These will cut the vast majority of leaders and do so for a season or more (depending on your usage). These are no frills nippers that are priced well and you won’t feel bad if they rust, dull, or fall off. I use them on my backpacking kit. For saltwater they’ll rust fast if you dunk them..but fresh water they’re fine.

I ordered these as a spare. I'm going to make these my primary nipper as they are solid and very visible.
