I primarily use Loon Aquel for most of my dry flies. But this powder floatant works s a must have for dry flies and emergers tied with CDC. Liquid floatants mat down fine CDC fibers but the dust keeps them floating high, dry, and still lets the CDC “breathe”.

Fits in my fishpond dry shake holder attachment. Inexpensive but fine material and bottle.

I prefer Gehrke's Gink for my hackled dries, but Loon Dust is a nice alternative for some of the more delicate CDC comparadun style dries in my box. Works quickly and effectively.
