Designed for ergonomics, nice to have the sharp end to cut thread but mine was jagged and did not cut well and I needed to sharpen. The size is good for #16 and larger flies but is poor for smaller sized hooks. It would be nice if they made a midge version. For now I’ll continue to use the Tiemco midge whip finishers for flies # 16 and smaller

Nice and sleek, much cooler looking than my regular finisher. I like the sharpened end for cutting thread but the edges dig into my palm when twisting. Still very useful.
