I predominately fish streamers, and I'm forever casting. The last thing I want to worry about is having the top section of the rod fly off while casting. A top-end rod is VERY EXPENSIVE and using this wax keeps my rod sections together.
I don't EVER fish a rod where I haven't applied this wax to each section. Simply the best $5.50 you can spend to take care of your fly rod. Buy, use it, and your fly rod will pay you back for years to come.
