Early on in my fly-fishing days I came across this and thought it would be helpful for helping smooth out a nail knot or leader knot, which it did, but it isn't the easiest to apply.
I have since transitioned to using the perfection loop on fly lines instead of the nail knot and Knot Sense.

I was told to use this for repairing my fly line end loop. Worked perfectly and now I use it on many other items. I do like that you need to use a UV light as you have time to play with the glue before it gets hard.

I love this stuff! I use it for securing knots of all types, even on some of my leader-to-tippet connections; it actually helps sink the tippet as well as strengthening the knot, a feature that occasionally proves advantageous. I even used it to repair a small cut in the jacket of a fly line, and I've been very happy with those results as well!
