LYNCH'S DRUNK AND DISORDERLY FLY
Tommy lynch’s drunk and disorderly has made a big splash in the streamer world over the last several years, and has accounted for some seriously large fish for us since we started stocking them in the shop last Spring. These flies are tied in the US by our good friend Mike Schmidt, who continues to amaze us with his quality and consistency on the vise. The drunk and disorderly is a large articulated streamer with tons of flash and a deer hair head cut at an angle to give the fly a diving or fluttering motion in the water. This pattern is able to achieve an erratic action similar to that of the swimmin jimmy because the head is treated with a Clear Goo UV resin– Creating a hydrophobic wedge that forces water over the body at different angles each time it is retrieved.

I love this fly. One of the only flies I've ever fished that actually produces it's own action. Short strips produce a side to side diving action that mimics the twitching of an injured baitfish.
