Named "The Perfect" for the beautiful sound that the reel produces while fighting a fish. Redesigned, for the modern era, the Narrow Spool Perfect fly reel takes the traditional craftsmanship of the original Hardy perfect, while blending new machining, tooling, and anodizing processes. Handcrafted in Alnwick, England. Built for the classic look, feel, and sound, the Hardy Perfect reels were designed for the bamboo and glass rods. However, our pro-staff loves this on the new modern rods especially when targeting trout on small to medium rivers. The new modern design incorporates a larger diameter spool for the weight forward fly line tapers. 

The Narrow Spool Perfect fly reel features a retrieve specific, polished stainless rotating line guard to provide the angler with ultimate control of the fly line. The NS Perfect is machined from bar stock aluminum for a lightweight and durable design. A one piece spindle of naval brass gives the reel strength and durability over time. Inside, the NS Perfect reel features stainless steel ball bearings for a smooth and frictionless running spool.
