You don't have to sacrifice weight for performance with the new RUN fly reel from Redington. This large arbor design features unique porting that helps the reel achieve its lightweight feel. It's so lightweight you'll quickly forget it houses a compact carbon fiber drag system that offers smooth stopping power even in the most stressful of situations.
A sleek, modern design takes great looks, combines them with ultralight weight, yet still packs a powerful compact carbon fiber drag that offers smooth stopping power. A recessed drag knob helps to reduce line catch. The Run can accept the same spools as the current Redington Rise Reel.
Both the Rise and Run Spools have a push button spool release and a rounded reel foot for line protection. A twin molded soft touch ergonomic handle, nylon reel case and a lifetime warranty makes the new Redington Run a fantastic bargain in a fly reel. Three sizes 3/4 (4.2oz) 5/6 (4.8oz) and 7/8 (5.8oz) to cover a wide range of fishing applications.

I received my reel last week and could not wait to try it out. Fishing here in Nebraska is not great this time of year, but it beats sitting at home or working! The Run reel is well made and it is easy and fast to swap out the spare reel. Makes switching between floating and sinking lines a snap. Great reel for the money!
