Both the Rise and Run Spools have a push button spool release and a rounded reel foot for line protection. A twin molded soft touch ergonomic handle, nylon reel case and a lifetime warranty makes the new Redington Run a fantastic bargain in a fly reel. Three sizes 3/4 (4.2oz) 5/6 (4.8oz) and 7/8 (5.8oz) to cover a wide range of fishing applications.

Just picked up a 7/8 Run for smallmouth out in the midwest. For this price, you seriously can't beat how this reel feels! Highly recommend it for anyone looking at a budget reel.

This reel has exceeded expectations. For its size it’s very lightweight, making streamer throwing that much easier. It has performed very well for both bass and trout when paired with a sinking line. I’d recommend this to anyone.

One of the best reels I’ve seen at this price. It looks nearly identical to the more expensive Redington Rise series of reels while also having a very smooth drag and fast line pickup.
