Great rod for the price. This rod really out kicked it coverage when it comes to performance and price. It punches bigger flies through the wind out on the flats and has the fighting power to handle any mid-sized tarpon. You can really put some pressure on this rod and trust that it is not going to snap.

I have the Axiom 2 X in a 9ft 10wt paired with a Redington Behemoth reel and a Rio Outbound Short for Pike fishing. Really nice action. This rod casts large wind resistant flies extremely well, even in the wind. The swing weight is actually alot lower than I thought it was going to be. Ive been a fan lately of TFO rods and this one is no exception. For the price, its pretty impressive.
