NEW! TFO AXIOM II-X 1090-4 FLY ROD : 10WT, 9'0", 4PC
The Axiom II-X 10wt 9'0" was designed for the pike, musky, or the permit angler in the saltwater. Cast larger flies, through tougher winds with ease. An excellent rod to have a back to a 11wt or a great choice for any angler that needs more power on the flats, but only has a 8wt or 9wt fly rod in the quiver.
TFO’s patented and exclusive Axiom technology embeds a double-helix of Kevlar within the blank. The superior tensile strength of the Kevlar acts to buttress the rod’s carbon fiber matrix in compression. The result is that Axiom series fly rods stabilize faster and smoother, absorb shock better and comfortably tolerate over-loading. The angler benefits because Axiom technology virtually eliminates the ability to over power the rod when casting. Bottom line – whether you carry more line in the air or push the rod to the limit, you won’t feel any mushiness – What you will feel is line ripping out of your hand as it launches. The Axiom II-X series delivers exceptional casting performance and efficiency that when combined with TFO’s no-fault lifetime warranty make them the perfect choice when distance and accuracy are the price of a life time trophy.

I really like this rod inshore for fish bigher than an 8wt should handle

Bought this as a backup to my Scott and have been super impressed. I would be very happy with this as my primary rod!!

Great rod for the price. This rod really out kicked it coverage when it comes to performance and price. It punches bigger flies through the wind out on the flats and has the fighting power to handle any mid-sized tarpon. You can really put some pressure on this rod and trust that it is not going to snap.
