This rod has performed exactly as I hoped it would. I purchased this rod to replace my TFO Mangrove in hopes of getting something that had the ability to make longer shots and better handle heavier lines. With this rod my SA Amplitude Grand Slam line just explodes from the tip. I couldn't recommend it more.

Picked up the TFO 6wt Axiom II X for streamers and light salt water. I paired it with the Orvis Hydros SW All-Rounder 6wt line. This rod cast great and has a lot of back bone. No need to over-line to load the rod and get a smooth cast. Highly recommend this rod.
