The TFO Axiom II-X 7wt is likely TFO's most versatile fly rod to date. It can handle every environment from throwing big poppers for smallmouth to sinking lines for hard-fighting saltwater fish. This is due to its powerful blank design and rugged saltwater-proof construction. For example, it's nearly impossible to break the lower guides because they are designed to flex. Additionally, the Axiom II-X has a striking blue color that is visually distinctive and impressive. Overall, this rod is the perfect 7wt to handle larger freshwater and light saltwater species without breaking the bank or giving up casting quality.
