The Air 2 is my first Winston rod is by far the finest rod I own now. What separates it from my other rods is how it seems to precisely "translate" the cast I have in my head and performs in a way where it feels more like an extension of my arm than just a tool. It could be that its taper and action are just more suited to my pace and style - but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to someone looking for a light, extremely accurate rod that's just a pleasure to fish with.

I've not been using Winston rods for long but this is the best of the ones I have owned. Lovely Smooth action. Doesn't need too much loading and handles a dry dropper set up really nicely. I was a bit disappointed with the original Air but this is a step up. Nowhere near as fast as some rods but I look forward over the summer to giving this a go with a dry fly. I think it will be awesome.
