Got my 10ft 8wt Clearwater outfit and put it to use right away with Orvis Bankshot Sink Tip fly line for Silvers. The casting from a frameless pontoon on Alaska rivers is greatly improved over a 9ft as is roll casting. The rod has a great feel and the Clearwater iV reel is smooth and the drag feels strong. I am happy. Orvis could have added a hook keeper on the rod though.
