ORVIS MEN'S CLEARWATER WADERS
The Orvis Clearwater Waders replace the Encounter waders but still retain the title of best value on the market. The Clearwater Waders have totally revolutionized wader fit and function. A new modern fit eliminates the age old problem of wader bulk while still allowing the angler to layer up on those especially cold winter days. Featuring 4 layers of waterproof breathable nylon fabric, worries of durability are a thing of the past. Orvis also designed the Clearwater waders with opposing side release buckles allowing the angler to convert to a waist-high option on the days the temps start low and end high. Not stopping there, Orvis also included small luxuries such as handwarmer pockets, anatomical neoprene booties, a storage pocket, and integrated gravel guards.
The Orvis Clearwater waders help you to eliminate all the variables for a day on the water all while not breaking the bank. You will not find a better quality wader for comfort, durability, and versatility than the new Orvis Clearwater Waders.

- Four-layer waterproof breathable nylon fabric.
- Opposing side-release buckles allow for waist-high conversion.

Waders have a great weight to them - warm enough (with layering) for a cold tailwater but not too warm for a mountain stream. Fit is not loose like most waders which make them more comfortable.

These were my first real pair of waders (beside neoprene). Extremely comfortable. Two years later still going strong. Would recommend these to any first timer.

Great pair of waders for the price. They have held up well to all the elements and use.

Got these to replacement replace my previous very old Orvis waders that lasted over decade of hard use. Have not use them yet but fit and finish is very nice. Looks like I got another Orvis wader that will last another decade of hard use. These XLs fit really nice for my frame of 5’10” 240 lbs.

My son picked these out for his birthday. He just moved to Colorado and said they are working perfectly for river fishing in the cold rivers. I liked the price!

These waders appear to be exactly what I was looking for. Quality seems high and the size seems just right. Chest storage and hand warmer pocket are well placed. Happy with my purchase!

First of all, these are Orvis waders, so you know they're made of quality material and that the company will stand behind them. The wader material seems heavy enough to last and overall construction seems good. That being said, there are few things that I am not 100% happy with.
First off, there is no internal loop to hang the waders to dry. While this may seem like a trivial issue, it's not. After giving my waders a post-fishing cleaning, I like to hang them to dry. Perhaps I'm missing it, but there is no loop to hang them from and I'm not a fan of hanging waders from the suspenders.
Second, the integrated gravel guard booties are much too large. I wear Korkers "Darkhorse" wading boots and there is a huge gap around the gravel guards when I complete the assembly. So I have to twist the metal catch/webbing to take up the slack and attach it to my wading boot "D" ring. I know sizing gravel guards can always be a challenge, as I've had waders that the gravel guards were TOO tight. But these are wayyyy too loose and don't work effectively for me.
Overall, a quality product with a few flaws that will likely drive me away from this product next time.
