These are very solid for the money. Blades are decently sharp and have held up well so far.

For the money this is the best nipper I've used. I'ts lightweight, feels good in the hand and cuts effortlessly even thick mono.

Pretty solid nipper for the price. I haven’t had any issues with it yet. It seems pretty sharp over all and a big step up from the cheap pair I use to own.

These are very good nippers. much better quality than entry level 8-15$ nippers. Sharp, well made. Nice hook eye cleaner that is sturdy and should not bend easily.

Less expensive than other high end nippers, but great Orvis quality

I bought 2 of these nippers after loosing my Simms nippers hiking a small brook trout stream. I have them now on fishpond retractors on two of my small packs and they fit in great without adding bulk or weight. These nippers are a great addition to my gear without breaking the bank, are compact and sharp ! You can depend upon Orvis quality, I'm impressed with their construction, they appear well made and presumably will last a long time.

These nippers are expensive for what they are. But the cheap ones are useless anymore. At least these come sharp and the jaws align well. I do like that they are all metal. The carbide cutting blades also stay sharp quite a bit longer than regular steel nippers.
