I use this line as a 9 wt with two different rods. An Orvis Recon and a guideline t pac 8 wt. Both rods are great but the Orvis (which is stiffer) fits much better to this line.

' Tried today on a 9' 5wt rod and streamers loads very well and handles a tandem setup with little effort . with this short 210 grain head it really cast like a dream double hauls and you can get some pretty decent distant cast with it.
