ORVIS HYDROS TROUT WF FLY LINE
The Orvis Hydros Trout WF Fly Line is Orvis best selling and most versatile line for all around trout fishing. A two-tone color helps to determine location of the back of the head for an ideal load point when casting. An innovative weight-forward taper combined with slightly larger line diameters produces a line that is ideal at close to medium range, but still capable of delivering at distance. Longer head than traditional weight forward lines allows for better line management, roll casting, and mending line. Larger diameter improves handling, flotation and mending without affecting casting performance. Core Braided multifilament core provides excellent performance over a wide range of conditions.

I've already used many fly lines and they do all their job, but casting flies with the Hydros lines is much more professional.

Do yourself a favor and buy this line. It's smooth, balanced performance is immediately noticeable and will take your angler game to a new level. The quality and time put into designing Orvis products is something I admire, and this fly line showcases that. I used it with dry flies, nymphs, and streamers, and it performed excellently. Used with both a 9'5wt Orvis Recon and a 9'5wt Echo Base. If you clean these lines regularly, they will last even longer and keep delivering on that smooth experience.

The old Hydros Trout line was my favorite fly line. I had it on all 5 of my rods. I just bought a new Redington Hydrogen and Ross Animas Reel, and putting this new version of the Hydros Trout line on it was an easy choice. This line is even better than the old version. It casts and mends effortlessly. It's also a very slick line and shoots through the rod very well. I would recommend this line to anyone for coldwater / trout. In my opinion there is no better line.
