ORVIS PRO SALTWATER ALL-ROUNDER TEXTURED FLY LINE
The Orvis PRO Saltwater All-Rounder Textured Fly Line is a completely reimagined and advanced compound taper from its predecessor. This line is the do-it-all saltwater line that has the power to reach that distant target, and a fast-loading, front compound taper to make a few quick shots in a row. The dual belly helps add stability to the line, and allows for easy casting and pick-ups. It is built on our multifilament core so it can easily perform in cool weather. Can also be very effective for larger freshwater application such as bass, pike, or carp. PRO Textured lines offer increased surface area, allowing the line to sit higher in the water, offering less drag, easier mending, less water spray and easier pick-ups. The micro-textured surface traps air to provide increases in both shootability and floatation while decreasing friction. Available in 6wt -10 wt.
FEATURES:
- AST Plus treatment provides continuous slickness that incorporates completely, continuously migrates out, works longer, and is eight times slicker than any other slickness additive available for better shooting, improved floatation, and performance. Easily sheds dirt and oils allowing line to perform better longer
- Orvis Line ID quickly identifies the line with the taper, weight and functionality
- Enhanced welded loop makes leader attachment quick and easy while holding up to repeated use. Helps to transfer energy more efficiently to the leader allowing better turnover
- All PRO lines are 90' in length and incorporate three color sections at 8'(stealth tip), 30' (from the tip), and rear taper and running line

Great line for sound fishing. Smooth and doesn’t tangle

You can't go wrong with this line. I have the WF9 paired with the Orvis Recon 909. Slippery line shoots great through the guides. You do notice the sound of a textured line while stripping it back in but I got used to it quickly.

Very pleased with this line on my 8 wt Orvis (first ge) Recon. Switched from using an intermediate line in the bays to this line with a sinking tip the result is longer more controlled casts. Inshore and on stillwater it proved equally reliable.

Pleased with this lines performance I use it for inshore saltwater as well as bass. It will take a little to get used to the noise the textured line makes through your guides but I think it’s worth the performance benefit

This line is great, very slick, loads the rod quickly and maintains good momentum on longer casts. Pricey but worth it!
