RED QUILL DRY FLY
This is an excellent fly pattern for eastern Hendrickson hatches and for the western mayfly hatches of the rithrogena and the cinygmula mayflies. On the eastern streams, the Hendrickson Hatch is one of our largest hatches of the year. Make sure to have a couple of these in the fly box.

I've used this fly at dusk on a local trout pond and received some hard hits from little rainbows going after surface bugs. Great fly.
