Nice, compact bobbin that works well on all sizes of trout fly, but excels on smaller patterns. Have used it with Nano Silk, GSP, floss, and the standard UTC, Veevus, Danville, Uni - no issues with any of it, though the inner diameter of the tube prefers the thin stuff. I bought it for small flies, as the name suggests, but it's in my general rotation of bobbins at this point.

I purchased this one because the lower level Griffin Bobbin had too much tension. The Bobbin works like a charm and no wear on the thread. Ruby tip is perfect.

The Renzetti Ruby Tip Bobbin is a quality bobbin. Great thread control and very smooth. I like the midge size for tying dries and nymphs.
