RIO SALTWATER MONO TIPPET
RIO's new Saltwater Mono is the go-to choice for anglers looking to tie their own leaders for tarpon, bonefish, permit, and other saltwater species. The material has a great strength-to-diameter ratio, extremely good abrasion-resistance, lacks memory and provides incredible knot-ability. I build my own leaders using this, then finish with a section of fluoro. No need to use fluoro for the entire leader.

This tippet worked wonderfully for Striped Bass and other saltwater species. Its diameter matches Rio's Striped Bass leader, making attaching new tippet easy. The tippet is also very strong, and I never feared that it would break or fail.

this is the best saltwater tippet that I have used, great for butt sections as well. It is also quite durable, just make sure that you rinse it after fishing if you plan on reusing it

Rio is my go to tippet for several reasons. Quality along with strength, abrasion resistance. I use this salt water leader material for all my streamer leaders especially dredging river smallies.

Rio makes top quality gear. Their tippet is easy to understand and identify. So for Salt water mono this stuff is top notch. Buy various sizes and tie your own leaders. If you need help buy a pre-tied leader and then the mono to replicate.

I use this material for all of my leaders. It performs nicely an the knots come out clean! I highly recommend it especially when you fish in places with loads of corals.
