RIO SUPPLEFLEX TROUT LEADERS
The supple nature of the material gives featherweight presentations and does not impede the natural movement of a fly in the current. These leaders are a perfect choice for the dry fly and soft hackle fly fisher. There are three leader lengths available:
7.5 ft - 6X (3 lb) to 3X (8 lb)
9 ft - 7X (2 lb) to 3X (8 lb)
12 ft - 6X (3 lb) to 3X (8 lb)
Each leader has a hand tied perfection loop in the butt for fast rigging.

just tried out 12' 6x and 5x on a "slower", clear trout stream and I think it helped to have the extra distance from the fish. Hooked into some nice redbands that day. Will use it again for that river.

Have used these leaders for years. Great strength and has RIO states; the Supplfles is great for turning over small flies and delicate presentations.

I have always personally felt that Rio has the best leaders in the market. I especially notice how they seem to straighten out better out of the package. Strong, versatile and pretty decent price.
