These are a great option that takes up less space than another spooled reel. Will be ordering more of these for all my packs, and in different sink rates. Great way to have more options on the water, but without carrying too much stuff. Must have!

Great for when you want to switch to streamers and get it down quick in fast water. The short length let me strip in without getting hung up on the guides.

I actually cut these down and use them to just get the very tip of my fly line to sink, especially when using lighter streamers in moderate current and shallow water. I don't have to worry about getting hung, but I can get bouyant flies under the surface early in the retrieve. Plus, an 18"-24" section of this stuff is easier to throw when a little extra distance is useful.
