The high end trout reel. I am not gonna sell it. The best reel I ever had.

I am familiar with the old ross san miguel. Had wanted one way back when but couldnt afford it. Its a pricey reel but splurged to fit a new Gloomis nrx+ 4wt. Its a fantastic reel. Beutiful blend of the orignial with modern updates like large arbor. The smoothness of this reel is truly amazing. I own many other reels in this price range or higher. Nothing else quite like it. Maching work and tolerances are pretty amazing on par with abel. Its slightly on the heavier side but still balances well. Kudos to ross for updates to create a modern classic. If looking for a lifelong reel that is functional and beautiful and can pass down. This and abel are good options

Bored with the COVID19 I succumbed to retail therapy. I started planning on a trip to Wyoming but rested it out locally on some small bass. I actually used the drag. It did. It disappoint.
