This tippet has a fantastic strength to diameter ratio. In other words for a smaller diameter tippet it has a higher strength than any other tippets I have seen. I catch more fish and lose less flies. But most important I don't injure the fish with a broken off fly in their mouth and I don't have to completely wear out the fish when they are hooked because of the worry of breaking the tippet. I am huge fan of this line.

I bought new 4, 5, and 6x to replace my older SA spools. The new packaging is very nice. I especially like the new rubber band that holds the tippet on the spool. Much better than the elastic that used to come on the SA spools.

Decided to try the new absolute line of tippet. Have been a die hard rio tippet for trout in past and Hatch floro for salt.
Material is easy to knot and holds well (clinch, blood knot, perfection loop, and surgeons). Great strength to diameter ratio and has held up well to snags and to some nice trout. So far so good! Definitely a convert.
