Simms AlumiBite Cleats (10puck)
With the current pushing against your legs and your eyes on the river, you need to be able to trust your feet. The more solid your footing, the more you can relax and enjoy being in the water. The AlumiBite Cleats are the absolute best for very slick substrates! The AlumiBite Star Cleats work directly with our StreamTread lug pattern for traction you can trust on varied river bottoms and mossy rocks. The cleats are soft enough to conform to what's under your foot as you change locations. With solid footing, your cast is better and you're free to explore the river.
FEATURES

They work very well, especially well when there is slippery vegetation on the rocks. However, they wear and pull out pretty quickly if you hike in them. I go through at least 2 sets a year. They do work quite well if there is any stud left, though. No need to replace them until they are nearly completely even with the sole of your boots.

I have run through a pack of these on my Simm's boots. They add great traction, though they have ripped out on multiple occasions. The profile seems to be prone to catching. I was disappointed after my regular walk and wades to find multiple cleats lost somewhere along the wade....

These alumabite Cleats are waAway better than their hardbite cleat. Love these things !

Installed on my Simms Freestone boots and they definitely help gain traction when wading in/on slippery boulders. I also use them when in using my float tube and they don't tear up my kick fins.

These provide good traction. However lost a handful over last few trips even after putting some aqua seal on the threads before screwing them in.
