SIMMS G3 GUIDE WADING BOOT, VIBRAM
Built with big-time support and durability, the new Simms G3 Guide Boot gives us guide-grade performance when we're out on the river chasing our next PB. The waterproof nubuck leather uppers keep the water out while fighting off abrasions from rocks and other underwater hazards, and they cinch down snug over our stockingfoot waders to form a strong base for our waterproof system. The RiverTread outsoles help us navigate slippery conditions, and they're compatible with several studs and cleats (sold separately) for added grip for fast currents and treacherous river bottoms.
FEATURES:
- Guide-grade wading boots for serious anglers
- Leather uppers are water- and abrasion-resistant
- Vibram rubber known for traction on wet surfaces
- Rubber rand adds durability in rocky river bottoms
- Dual density midsoles mix comfort and support
- ESS plates for improved cleat retention
- HardBite Studs/Cleats and Alumibite Star Cleats sold separately

Love these boots. I hate they’re not being made anymore. Get a pair while you still can

Wading boots can be stupid expensive. There is no way around that. However, I have beat the crap out of at least 6 different brands/model boots over the years ranging from entry level to flagship. These are by far the most comfortable wading boots that I have found. Good cushioning, sturdy uppers, and rock-solid soles, so you can hike miles in and wedge your feet between rocks or stand on sharp ledges all day. The traction is no better or worse than any other rubber sole. I don't use them at all without aluminum cleats and I end up replacing 25-50% of the cleats every couple of months. Until I figure out how to get a robot billy-goat to carry me around the river so I can fish in pajamas and bedroom slippers, I'll be buying these boots every couple of years.

Picked up a pair and these are rock solid. a bit heavier that I like but handles the rocks and slate of the utah terrian. expect to last years and not fall apart like the POS that I replaced these for.

Had a pair of leather Simms guide boots that were 15-20 years old with felt soles. Needed a non-felt replacement that was a size larger. These fit the bill. These seem very durable and are comfortable. Can't go wrong with Simms.

Awesome boots that are not heavy or klunky like most other wading boots. Fits well and the vibram sole holds up nicely were I fish and often walk great distances.

I bought these as a replacement to my korkers for winter, fall, and spring fishing. These are as rugged and durable as they come. I bought a pair of patagonia's to compare too, and these fit way better. Different construction, but more shoe like that the patagonia, which led me to send those back!
