While I had the measurements beforehand I was surprised at just how large this suitcase presents. It is very big. Access to all the compartments is not as convenient as it could be, but that is more than made up for by the specialty nature of the luggage. I can fit my loaded Simms Taco bag with my wet boots and waders in the wet compartment and still have some room to spare in that section. The other areas are spacious. My GTS rod/reel case fits nicely on the outside. Most notably, the fit and finish is top notch. It is obvious the suitcase will outlive me, no matter how much I abuse it. Definitely a luxury purchase, but for those that travel by airplane for fishing, worth it.
